CWs: Disassociation from reality, hallucinations, paranoia, body horror, cannibalism, and monster spiders

Stage One
Maul's claws will remain lengthened no matter how much tries to trim them, instead they seem to grow overnight. His teeth also seem to grow sharper though no visible change in length is present. He starts dealing with insomnia a least a few nights a week. His anger is quick to rise even when he tries to keep it under control with things like meditation.

Stage Two
The above symptoms as well as paranoia that starts to set in. He becomes overprotective of people that he cares about, convinced that they're going to come to harm if he's not there, and more aggressive with those that he dislikes, thinking that they are all plotting against him. He occasionally seems to lose focus on what he's doing or who he talks to before being able to snap back to attention.

Stage Three
His horns begin to lengthen out, and again, nothing he does can shorten them. At this point, the mental symptoms start to become very bad. He starts to disassociate, occasionally thinking he is back in a different period of his life, and not interacting with the people around him in the present as he should, instead seeing them as figures from his past. He also begins to hallucinate, convinced that there are people or creatures in Trench which should definitely not be there (i.e. Darth Sidious.) His overprotectiveness and paranoia will reach fever-pitch and people will actively need to calm him down from these states.

Stage Four

This is Maul on the point of teetering right into beasthood. His body has changed and he resembles the spider-like version of himself that Savage first found as on Lotho Minor. He's gone completely insane at this point, though he's not aggressive unless approached first with ill-intent. He's more focused on basic survival, tending to eat carrion or even the occasional person before retreating back into dark areas of the city like the sewers, where he will mutter to himself and continue the disassociation and hallucination symptoms as in Stage Three. He won't recognize anyone who interacts with him at first, though with extreme effort he will eventually begin to understand who they are, and at that point it is a bit easier to talk him down to one of the other stages of corruption.

Stage Five

At this point, he transforms into a complete spider monster. Speech is lost to him and animal instincts take over. He becomes far more aggressive and deadly, actively seeking out people to kill and eat. He will particularly go after people he's had negative experiences with in the past, while people he cares about will give him pause before he ultimately strikes. While he is fast and is swift to attack, he also easily loses focus, so distractions can help someone escape his grasp. Death is one way to take him down and probably the most easy, though another good way is to first remind him of himself and his own personality, what makes up Maul at his core, and also remind him of those here who care about him. If he can be held in one spot or cornered and talked down enough, he'll revert back.
