Deer County Appearance and Inventory

Appearance

Maul underwent a few changes in Deerington that have stuck with him permanently. These include:
- One of the tattoos on his lower left arm turned silvery-white after encounter with Witch of the Wastes and being de-aged then aged up.
- Bite mark on right arm healed into scar just below wrist, punctured all the way through from training Malice.
Gained fangs (second picture) and bone claws after reading the cursed Leitner book "The Boneturner's Tale."
- Permanent Lichtenburg figures on his hands after his first death when he died at the hands of a spectre of Darth Sidious.
- A scar made by a lightsaber on his chest when Obi-Wan Kenobi killed him in his third death.

In Trench, the appearance changes include:
- A scar on his right side just before the organic half meets the metal portion left from being stabbed by a Nightmare Steed when he got into a fight with one.
- A ruby stud in his right ear. Reaper pierced his ear when he was in a coma and Maul decided to keep it despite all his fuming when he woke up.
- Got another piercing in his left ear to celebrate being in in the Deer games for two years, creating an industrial piercing in his upper ear. Currently has a space-themed bar right now in it.
- A scar on his head from where Faith mercy-killed him by shooting him in the head with a crossbow after he was being tortured by Willow.
- His eyes have switched to their natural grey-brown color instead of always being Sith-yellow.
- The shadowy, faint mark of permanent handprints can be found on his body thanks to the bonds that he's formed with people. One on his chest, three on his two arms, and one on the left side of his face.

Bonds Formed
- Familial one with Albert Wesker with the mark on his upper left arm.
- Platonic one with Obi-Wan with the mark on his chest.
- Hostile one with Anakin Skywalker with the mark on his neck. Broken as of late April 2022.
- Familial one with Savage with the mark on his upper right arm.
- Romantic one with Reaper with the mark on the left side of his face.
- Familial one with Usagi with the mark on his lower right arm.

Deaths Caused By Maul
- Mercy-killed Albert Wesker by partially strangling and then snapping his neck after the zealots had drained him of his blood and injured him beyond the point of being able to be healed. (November 2021)
- Killed Johnny Lawrence by Force choking him to death after he'd had enough of the man's misogynistic and sexist bullshit. (February 2022)
- Killed Willow Rosenburg when she was in wolf form by snapping her neck while under the effect of a vanilla chocolate. (February 2022)

Maul's Deaths
- Mercy-killed by Faith after she and Willow attacked him and Savage in revenge for her own death. Willow tortured him with lightning until Faith put him out of his misery.

NPCs

- A female vornskr named Malice. Vicious and temperamental, seeing Maul more as food than master, he has nonetheless been determined to train her, and has at least been successful in getting her to guard the bookcase where he keeps the cursed books he has found. She eventually began to obey him better but still remained fiercely territorial over Maul's property. Maul tends to keep here well-fed enough that she doesn't feel the need to instantly attack anyone anymore, but she can still be a vicious brute if she senses someone's intentions are malicious.
- A hyena-like warg named Slicer. Injured during the attack upon Maul's house, he found the beast during the aftermath. Chaining him to a tree, he slowly nursed the creature back to health and gained his trust while attempting to keep all his limbs attached during the process. He mostly protects the outside of the house while Malice protects the inside. From the May event description: "The wargs seem to be just as feral [as orcs]. They sometimes travel in packs without their riders, hunting no different than wolves, and every bit as ruthless as the orcs. Wargs technically can be captured and made into your own stead/pet. They are extremely aggressive and difficult to train, but not impossible. Those with abilities over animals/beasts will be able to use that ability on them."
- A Shuppet of indeterminate gender, a ghost-type Pokemon, who has latched onto Maul as a source of food given all his negative emotions. It has regularly been draining him of his vengeful-filled emotions like rage and fury, much to his annoyance. Still, he can't bring himself to make it leave.
- Two young colt-puppy fathiers, one black and one tan. He intends to find new homes for them as soon as he's settled into Trench. Given to the Disaster House as of Christmas 2021.
- Cranky the Mankey.
- The Nightmare Steed.
- The blood hound, the look of a black Rhodesian Ridgeback and the antlers of a Great Sable Antelope.
- Lady Macbeth the batcat aka "Grumpy Cat".
- Vin, one of the original members of Maul's cult and one of the most devoted to the ideals Maul espouses as well. Tall, handsome, but a bit scruffy as if he's got more important things to do than care about trimming his hair or beard, Vin takes the lessons Maul teaches to heart and wouldn't hesitate to kill someone if Maul requested it.
- Ranz, a woman who is more of the strong, silent type than the spokesperson Vin tends to be, she is also another devoted original member of Maul's cult. She's the blacksmith of the group, using her skills to create weapons as well as Mandalorian-style helmets for the cult members to wear and show their devotion to Maul

- One medieval outfit composed of shirt, pants, and cloak, all black. Basically these pics for the aesthetic he's going for.
- His hotel outfit that he woke up in after the ball.
- A kimono gotten at the ball as well.

Trench items
- A fur coat he rescued from a building after collapsing it on top of a blood-crazed zealot while protecting Richie.
- Another fur coat he got since he was tired of being cold all the time.
- A coat that completely fits Maul's build, given by Usagi as a 2021 Christmas present.
- A suit given by Madam Generosity for the 2022 ball. Despite normally not caring one whit about fashion, Maul is oddly fond of it.
- An outfit designed and sewn by Reaper and given as a 2021 Christmas gift.
- A black wedding band that sparkles with the Darkblood it was created from. It was made with Reaper's blood and occasionally will teleport him to Reaper's side when he focuses on it or is in great danger.
-A Metallica T-shirt given by Tory as a 2022 Christmas gift.
- A set of nail polish ranging from black to red given by Robby as a 2022 Christmas gift.
-An ugly Christmas sweater he got at the Sanctuary 2022 Christmas party.

- A parting gift from Gwen Poole. The pog is enchanted with dream magic, so that it can be given as a gift, but cannot be lost, stolen, or destroyed.

- One of the rooms of his house was transformed into a sex dungeon in his red-and-black color scheme.

- A artistic figurine from Paimon.

- His Omni communications device.

- A magical canteen that can purify any substance put in it and make it safe to drink. Donated to the Outpost
- A blank journal to write in. Maul uses it to write IC notes about his CR in case he loses his memory again.
- One Lunar Orb.
- One Lamp Friend who has yet to appear.

-An immortal Dark Night rose blooming in his front yard that represents how much progress Maul is making in Trench.
-A white gold compass, gained during the September River of Regrets prompt. The compass's needle will always point in the direction of the nearest Lamp Friend no matter the chaos going on in the world. But the compass only works once Maul is calmed down and focused.
- Some dried roses from where the Moon Presence covered his house in September.
- A large pile of gold coins he got from Paimon by giving him an offering. He gave half of them to Savage as a Christmas present.
- A box of twelve Weeping Wafers. Given by Lysithea to keep Maul calm and help preserve the collective sanity of all the citizens of Trench. Eaten.
- A sea medallion given by Mariana as his Blessed Gift in August 2022. "This medallion will enhance the power of the owner, but there's a catch: it only seems to work when the owner is expressing their emotions openly and with strong conviction. This can be done intentionally, but powers can also be enhanced by accident if one happens to be wearing it when they get extremely pissed off or overly excited by something. These enhancements are as unpredictable and may not always be helpful. For example, a Darkblood who has the power to warp reality may unintentionally start to change the world around them when they get into a fight with a friend, or maybe they accidentally make a worm hole in the middle of the street when they get good news. The medallion will only work for the person that it was given to and are completely indestructible. They can be lost (or thrown out), but they have a habit of turning up again weeks later, like they were never discarded in the first place."
- A golden wheat bracelet given by Never Mind. "[It] can rid a small patch of land (roughly 4 square feet) completely of pollution, allowing the area to properly grow a small amount of plants. In Trench, this is almost as priceless as the gold itself, and so many are quick to encourage anyone to go and get one for themselves."
- A Vileblood rose cutting given by White Mask Varré before he left. Maul "waters" it regularly with his own Vileblood.
- A compass that will protect the person holding it and the group they travel with by taking them the fastest route to where they want to go. The blue gem that provides the light to travel by goes out after one arrives at their destination. The compass will recharge but takes several days to do so. The charge on the compass only lasts a few miles but the longer Maul uses it, the farther he can go.
- A small, silver ring on a chain provided by Never More in November which glows when the moonlight hits it. The ring helps to lessen how easily beasts can detect Maul.
- A small box passed out in January "which contains a hand written note in scrawled black ink that is alarmingly similar to squid ink. Inside the box are always the same items: 1 gallon of orange juice, 6 cans of chicken noodle soup, (Drank and eaten) 4 boxes of tissues and what looks like an old world-war I era gas mask. The hand written note reads clearly 'DRINK THE JUICE!' Nobody in Trench seems to know why or who gave them."
- A small basket of potions from Melius' shop, mostly healing and protection potions given by Sasuke as a 2022 Christmas gift.
