[Maul hadn't yet seen the video on the network, so this was the first indication he had of what had happened to Luke. To say he was alarmed would be an understatement. Immediately, he went into crisis mode, ready to solve the problem at hand.
Maul didn't ask too many questions or ask if Luke was at all alright. Clearly, he was not. He armed himself and then was out the door, ready to help his young friend and rescue him if necessary.]

[That would tell Maul whether traveling by Lamp Location or using one of his many modes of transportation would be easier, especially since it looked like he was going to need to possibly grab Luke and bodily drag him from wherever he was at until they were out of danger.]
